Technology requires safety

Since 1990, GTÜ and its partners have stood for the neutral and periodical road safety testing of motor vehicles throughout Germany. This includes, among other things, the general inspection and exhaust emission test on vehicles, because “technology requires safety”.

For us as an officially recognised monitoring organisation in Germany, safety standards around motor vehicles have the highest priority.

 

After a successful inspection, the general inspection sticker is affixed to the vehicle’s rear number plate.
