Accident prevention regulations of the GTÜ experts
In Germany, employers are responsible for the health and safety of their employees in the workplace. The employers’ liability insurance associations issue accident prevention regulations that act as a guideline for this.
As competent partners, GTÜ experts also support motor vehicle businesses with a wide range of issues relating to occupational health and safety and operational safety.
Advantages of GTÜ experts
The advantages are clear: thanks to their ongoing training, GTÜ experts, as qualified persons, always have the latest information at their fingertips. They can advise the garage owner in detail and specifically point out any deficits in safety-relevant equipment. This reduces the risk of accidents to a minimum, and any resulting work stoppages and expensive follow-up costs are avoided.
The most common test objects in vehicle operations are:
- Industrial trucks (e.g. forklifts, hand pallets)
- Power-operated roller and sectional doors (gate systems)
- Vehicle lifts (as well as lifting hoists and pit jacks)
- Ladders and steps
- Pressure washers
- Lifting gear (e.g. motor jack, shunting jack, shunting winch)
- Roller test stands
- Liquid gas systems
- Winches, lifting and pulling equipment
- Load-handling attachment
- Workplace ventilation
- Electrical installations and equipment
